Cleanings you won’t dread

Gentle and thorough

We clean carefully and take the time to do it right. However long it’s been, there’s no judgment here.

Hygienists who run on time

Your appointment starts when it’s booked. We respect your schedule as much as your teeth.

We like questions

Ask us anything. We explain what we see and why it matters, in plain language.

Why regular hygiene matters

A professional cleaning is the most cost-effective dental care there is. It removes the hardened plaque (tartar) that brushing can’t, and it’s where we spot small issues, a tiny cavity, an early gum problem, while they’re still cheap and easy to fix.

Our Langley hygienists are gentle and unhurried. However long it’s been, we’re here to help, not to judge.

What to expect

01

A look around and any X-rays

We check your teeth and gums and take any X-rays we need. You’ll hear what we find.

02

Scale and polish

We remove plaque and tartar, then polish to lift surface stains. This is the main event.

03

Tips and your next recall

We share home-care tips that fit you, then set the right recall interval, usually six months.

What a hygiene visit includes

  • Scaling to remove plaque and tartar
  • A polish to lift surface stains
  • Gum-health (periodontal) measurements
  • Fluoride treatment when it’s helpful
  • Personalised home-care tips, no generic lecture
  • An early check for decay and gum disease

Frequently asked questions

How often should I get a cleaning?

Most people every six months. If you’re prone to gum issues, we may suggest every three to four months, and we’ll explain why.

Does a cleaning hurt?

It shouldn’t. If your gums are inflamed it can feel sensitive, so tell your hygienist and they’ll adjust. Numbing is available for deeper cleanings.

What’s the difference between a cleaning and a deep cleaning?

A regular cleaning works above the gumline. A deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) treats below it when gum disease is present. We’ll only recommend it if you genuinely need it.

Is it covered by insurance?

Hygiene visits are covered by most plans. We bill directly and tell you what’s covered before we start.
