What a first visit is really like
A thorough look
We check every tooth, your gums, and your bite, and take digital X-rays for the full picture.
An honest written plan
You leave with a plan on paper, real prices, and what’s urgent versus what can wait.
No judgment, no pressure
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been. We help you forward from where you are today.
What is a new patient exam?
A new patient exam is the foundation of good dental care. At our Langley clinic it’s a complete look at your teeth, gums, and bite, so we understand your whole mouth before recommending anything. It’s also where we get to know you, your history, your concerns, and what you want from your smile.
Whether it’s been six months or sixteen years, this is the place to start. You won’t be lectured about the gap, just helped forward from wherever you are today.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a new patient exam take?
Usually 45 to 60 minutes. We’d rather give you the time to ask questions than rush you through.
Will it hurt?
No. An exam and digital X-rays are completely painless. If anything is tender, just tell us and we’ll go gently.
Do you bill my insurance?
Yes, we bill most insurers directly, and we tell you what’s covered before any treatment begins.
How often should I have a check-up?
For most people, every six months. If your gums or teeth need closer attention, we’ll explain why and suggest a schedule that fits.
